MIAMI (November 18, 2019) — Nautilus Reels has created a limited edition series of reels to support conservation efforts in Texas. Curated with art from Sight Line Provisions, these reels will be offered at Gordy & Sons with proceeds going to the Port Aransas Conservancy.
The Middle Texas Coast currently faces numerous threats, including a massive dredging project, desalination plants discharging waste into the inner bays, the development of the treasured Port Aransas area for the purpose of building a giant tank farm, and inshore loading terminals for super tankers. The Port Aransas Conservancy (PAC) is combating these efforts, and Nautilus Reels, Sight Line Provisions, and Texas guide JT Van Zandt have come together to create a reel that will raise money to support PAC’s work of protecting this ecosystem.
