Tim Harden was born and raised in Washington, D.C. Longing for wilderness, Tim chose to attend college in Colorado and graduate school in California due to their proximity to nature. He has worked in the fly fishing industry since 2000 in a number of capacities. He was a guide and shop staffer before working for two magazines and eventually creating The Venturing Angler and Coast Fly Media. Tim is also a member of Off the Grid Studios — a collective of creators who focus largely on fly fishing and the outdoors.
When not behind a computer or fly fishing the globe, Tim works as an environmental activist and advocate. He teaches courses in ecological justice and is an ambassador for CalTrout.

Christine Cole is a writer, editor, and marketing and communications expert whose experience dates back to 2003. Christine has brought her skills everywhere from universities to health care systems to tech companies, and as an award-winning writer, she has worked for four magazines to date.

Perhaps the most traveled photographer and cinematographer in the field, Bryan has photographed fly fishing everywhere from the Seychelles to Kamchatka. While known for his award-winning work and countless cover shots, Bryan is also a consultant and storyteller whose unique vision of the sport, its history, and its direction strongly influence his work and his ability to serve clients.

Sean McCormick has been working in the action sports/outdoors industries for more than 14 years as a filmmaker. From snowboard to fly fishing films, Sean has traveled the world for numerous projects and routinely exhibits skills, professionalism, and hard work that are unparalleled.

Tara Ritchey has a passion for the outdoors and helping brands advance their marketing goals. She is eager to put her curiosity for the art of storytelling to work to ultimately help build long-lasting connections across multimedia platforms. Tara has worked for two backpacking magazines, helping to cover featured stories and digital content and has published some of her own original pieces. When Tara isn’t working you can find her on the trail during the summers and on the slopes during the winter trying to always maximize the fun.
